Firstly i’d like to give a million thanks to ninong Domeng (nakssss) for the awesome present. He gave me a present after Confirmation which was an original album of Dicta License.

So about Dicta License.. It’s a great pinoy quartet band probably in the rap-metal/rap-core genre. One vocalist,a guitarist, a bassist and a drummer. Some songs are politically themed due to their Rage Against The Machine-influence. What i can say is tht i recommend this to those who like rapmetal, heavy distorted guitar riffs or good lyrics.

The band has a great vocalist, Poch Labog, who isnt limited to just rapping..i mean this guy can sing and is a good lyricist. His pronounciation in Tagalog is so ‘whole’ i mean.. especially when he raps you can still get wat he’s saying (that is if u’re filo. :x) and when he gets to the english songs, you cant tell tht its still him singing/rapping. Just like Bamboo i guess.

About the guitarist, Boogie Romero, well i can say a lot but ill keep it short. haha. The guitarist is damn good and quite creative. I like his riffs especially in the song ‘Alay sa mga Nagkamalay noong Dekada Nobenta’.. it means ‘tribute to those who woke up in the 90’s’.  He is a flexible guitarist (well every guitarist shud be anyways) just like the band is cos not only can they play rapcore but there is one song tht is somewhat like reggae/jamaican-ish.. and i like his solo for the intro there.. the song is ‘Falling Earth’.

The bassist, Kelley Mangahas, is well used especially in DOTFB (Decendant of the Firstborn). He has this bass solo there.. i like the way the bassist plays along with the guitarist cos both of ‘em in unison make the song heavier and during ‘gaps’ he plays riffs in order to fill it in.. so yeah there u go.

THE drummer, Bryan Makasiar, wat can i say? His patterns are pretty cool especially in the songs where verses are rapped.. very hiphop and heavy. probably a drummer can appreciate this dude better than me hehehe.

haha i have kuya domeng’s mp3 cos i have some ‘homework’ to do. hehe. listened to the songs in his player.. GILA KALI. Slapshock, Sound Garden, Candlebox and Stone Temple Pilots. To be honest, ive only heard of slapshock and sound garden. Just the band names. Never thought of listenin to their songs. haha. Slapshock’s Circus Jesus is damn good. Outshined by Sound Garden is kind of like alice in chain-ish.. slow but damn heavy. And uhm Stone Temple Pilots… i like silvergun superman hehe. Lastly, from Candlebox i looooiiiike Don’t You. Reminds me of Kjwan’s song ‘Slip’ - the part where the Candlebox singer says ‘GO!’ after 2 bars of intro. Grabe lupet mga repapeeps. A million thanks to kuya Domeng. :D

At least these songs take me away from reality for a couple of minutes. ;P

hello. just felt like talkin my blog again no mater how gay it is. anyways, now.. i just realised tht..its evening na. hehe. dammit haha. u noe it sux to noe tht nobody tkes u seriously no matter how many times u say ’seriously’ haha. did tht make sense. no? im sorry. hehe. 

in times wen problems come, the saying ‘just face it with ur chin up, man’ (well eventhough nobody tells u tht, u noe the sayin’) may be blurry sumtyms. U noe u got to cos thts the smartest thing u can do rite? hehe. but then its during this times tht the enemy will take advantage of ur weak and frail position. thts why some teenagers wen faced with problems think of suicide. note tht im not giving a lecture here cos this is wat im feelin’ now. NO, not suicide. im not dumb hehe. i just feel like the road to ‘badness’ is sumtyms the easy way out cos the feeling of unworthiness is slowly eating me away. but i havent been duin my fave sin. note tht eheh. its easy to say ‘just face it’ but the saying goes that wat u feel for a person in pain(wheter its pity,etc.) is nothing compared to wat he/she is actually feelin. but im a humble person. i listen to advices. but some ppl’s advices are just too cliche and lame. i stll listen anyways…  \m/

wat else. hmm it sux also to noe tht u are being treated differently. acting normal wen im not around but when it comes to u n me its a diff. thing. thts why i have to find a way to start a casual conversation. jeez im not expecting anything else man! u makin me feel left out! hahaha! but then, i dnt feel like duin tht all the time cos i might be labelled as ’someone whos desperately chasing you’. sorry. ok lang sana if tht different treatment is actually good but this.. is realli breaking my heart. hehe. im sorry if u think im crazy for you but its just too hard for me to look at you aas ‘just a friend’ kasi nga… its too late na.. ive fallen for you.

..so wat else..ah i noe.. its so unfair tht i cant even get close to understanding wat someone is realli feelin’ while tht someone already noes wat im feelin. haha..gets? daming ‘feel’ noh? hehe laff muna tau ok..so yeah.. pero its ok lang.. patience is a virtue..and a bitch. ahaha. sorry again if im not makin any sense..im not angry here hehe u and u’re imagination..tsktsktsk.

tht feeling of unworthiness.. i needa jam with yfc. thts the only time it goes away. cos nothing else matters *woo metallica* wen i jam praise songs..its just the music and i. it all started last week, sigh. i didnt feel like going to any gatherings pero i still went to all of em kasi bka ma-labelled ako na ‘kulang sa pansin’. hinde po. im not asking for attention. but then im the kind of person tht doesnt like being left out from the laughs and joys. so yeah must come din. hehe.. man, i miss the band..Louie, Megan, Neil, Chris, AJ, Abigail, Steph and ADRIAN. Man, so sad my first jam session with the band was Adrian’s last day in the band..He went to Phils Jam soon u guys. We’ll be reunited. haha.

and hmm wannabes. they’re so annoying. ehehe coming from my experience of being a wannabe as well..lets just say tht u feefol will have to wake up someday and realise tht u’re freakin lost for being someone u cant be. dnt let influences get u and dnt take em seriously. drinking a can of beer doesnt make u a fcukin’ rockstar.

ok i think thts all hehe im sorry again people if u’re saying tht im too emo then i dnt give a flying fuck cos some people just have to be human too sumtyms. but i still hate emo-wannabes. but im not emoting here. just thinking out loud. hehe.
